Top albums of 2009

So there has been so much great music released this year but this is just a quick top 10 put together by me very roughly and not so much in order :)

1. Hey Monday- Hold on tight
(ok ok that was released 2008 but it missed out on my top ten last year because it wasn't released untill the 22nd of december and i wrote my top ten before that and its an amazing amazing debut album)

2. Taking back Sunday- New Again

3. Muse- The Resistance
(so a lot of people didn't like it particually diehard muse fans from the days of absolution and origin of symmetry but if listened to it without their old standard in mind it was a spectacilar album and they took a lot of chances on it)

4. Dashboard Confessional- Alter The Ending
(easily my altime favourite band)


5. Bury Tommorow- Portraits
 
6. Alexisonfire- Old crows, young cardinals
 
7. Various Artists- Punk goes Pop, vol 2
(a great mix of tracks...great fun, i'm a big fan of covers)
 
8. Mayday Parade- Anywhere but Here
 
9. AFI- Crash Love
 
10. Me vs. Hero- EP
(technically not an album but a great, easy to listen to and bob around EP)
 
So yeah theres my 2009 toppies very roughly!
If you havnt listened to any of them DO!!
They're all well worth it!
